Community Outreach
Since its official welcome by Mayor Muriel Bowswer on behalf of all DC residents in 2019, TEDxUStreetWomen has served as a hub for creative people and organizations, and women-led initiatives, and has surfaced some of DC’s brightest ideas and voices for positive change through carefully curated experiences. We will work together to build community among families, neighborhoods and interesting organizations through curated gatherings, excursions, and professional development experiences.

JTYPL supports at risk women and youth across healthcare, hunger and nutrition resources, basic education, economic opportunities, gender equality, leadership training, and workforce development. We will work together to train our staff to support the most underserved members of our community.
